Desprat & Saint Verny

Our Auvergne wines are Unique! Offering a superb minerality and freshness, their volcanic origins are recognized immediately; ashes, lava and basaltic depo sits are at the core of this terroir. Our vineyard stradles 400 ha of sun-bathed hillsides under the designation “Côtes d’Auvergne”. The vineyard extends 80 kilometers, alongside the gentle Puys mountain chain, listed in the UNESCO world heritage. Located on the oldest and largest volcano in Europe, the Côtes d’Auvergne designation boasts 5 crus (Châteaugay, Chanturgue, Madargues, Boudes, Corent) which carry the AOP label since 2011.
