Intense brilliant red in colour, with a rich nose - notes of small red berries and liquorice. Fresh and well balanced with a long spicy and a slightly saline finish.
Viticulture
Grapes are grown on volcanic soils, along the middle of the Auvergne volcano chain
Vinification
Traditional vinification, short maceration to flavour the fruit, then vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
Recommendation
Ideally serve as an aperitif, with a charcuterie board, or for something more robust a spaghetti dish with bolognese sauce, or simply with grilled red meat and a dressed salad.
