Dry Riesling Explorer Case (12x75cl)
- 6 bottles Villa Wolf Dry Riesling 2018 - Tasting Note
- 6 bottles Louis Dry Riesling 2017/18- Tasting Note
Containing two superb examples of entry level Dry Riesling. The first, Louis Dry Riesling, comes from Rheinhessen, and the impressive Louis Guntrum estate, which lies adjacent to the Rhine River. A delicate wine with white orchard fruit notes and nervy acidity. The Villa Wolf Riesling Dry, hails from the more southerly Pfalz, one of the warmer and drier regions of Germany, this wine displays an excellent balance of fruitiness and acidity.
Classic Riesling Explorer Case (12x75cl)
- 6 bottles Gunderloch Als wär ein Stück von Mir Riesling 2017/18 - Tasting Note
- 6 bottles Dr Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling Spätlese 2018 - Tasting Note
Showcasing two outstanding examples of “fruity” German Rieslings, this case includes the highly personal wine “Als wär ein Stück von Mir” (A piece of me) made by Johannes Hasselbach, in Rheinhessen, a wine he created when he first took over the family business. In contrast the Dr Loosen Erdener Treppchen Riesling Spätlese is grown on the insanely steep red devonian slate soils of the Mosel, a fruit-driven Riesling that combines extraordinary concentration with excellent balance.
The Organic Case (6x75cl)
- 6 bottles Schnaitmann Steinwiege Riesling 2017 - Tasting Note
A 6 bottle case featuring the dry Steinwiege Riesling from superstar winemaker Rainer Schnaitmann in Baden-Württemberg. Rainer is laser focussed in the vineyards and achieved full organic certification in 2016. The Steinwiege Riesling shows great varietal purity and flavour, whilst still expressing its terroir.
