2019 Berryland Pet Nat Apple Cider

Made using the ‘méthode ancestrale’ where the cider is bottled before primary fermentation is finished and without the addition of secondary yeasts or sugars to provide a natural in-bottle sparkle. Apples are sourced from the company’s own chemical-free orchards in Makarisvska Buda, near the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, and the resulting cider is made only from 100% juice without the use of any concentrates, to produce a drink that shows great balance and the lower alcohol that are hallmarks of the company’s products.

Slightly cloudy and pale lemon / gold colour with a light sparkle, the yeasty sweet fruit ferment nose hints at hot cross buns, this cider shows light tannins and finishes dry.
