Viticulture

This Pinot Noir Rosé originates from carefully selected vineyards in Rheinhessen one of Germany's most diverse and innovative wine-growing regions. the region's varied landscapes, ranging from gentle hillsides to well-exposed vineyard sites, provide ideal conditions for producing elegant and refreshing Rosé wines with vibrant fruit, finesse and a distinct sense of place. Rheinhessen's vineyards are shaped by a wide range of soil structures, including limestone, marl, loess and clay-rich soils. Limestone and marl contribute freshness, elegance and a subtle mineral character, while loess and clay provide balanced ripening conditions, structure and a refined fruit profile. These terroirs are particularly well suited to Pinot Noir, allowing the grapes to develop delicate aromas, fine acidity and an elegant structure.
Sustainable vineyard practices, careful canopy management and selective harvesting ensure healthy grapes with optimal aromatic expression. The grapes are harvested at a point of ripeness that preserves freshness and acidity while capturing the delicate red fruit character that defines high-quality Pinot Noir Rosé

Vinification

The Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed after a short period of skin contact to achieve the wine's delicate rosé colour and to extract the fine aromas of the variety while maintaining freshness and elegance. After careful clarification, fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures, in stainless steel tanks, preserving the purity and vibrancy of the fruit. The wine is matured on fine lees for added texture and subtle complexity before bottling.
