The finish is clean, vibrant and lingering, with a delightful interplay of fruitiness and freshness.

Viticulture

This fruit driven Riesling originates from carefully selected vineyards in Rheinhessen, one of Germany's most important and diverse wine-growing regions. The region's gently rolling hills and sheltered vineyard sites provide ideal conditions for producing Rieslings wiht expressive fruit, vibrant acidity and a refined balance between sweetness and freshness. The region's geological diversity is reflected in its vineyards, with soils including limestone, marl, loess and clay-rich formations. Limestone and marl soils are particularly significant for Riesling, contributing finesse, elegance and a subtle mineral expression, while loess and clay provide structure. depth and balanced ripening conditions for the vines. Together these soils support the development of aromatic, finely structured Rieslings with a distinctive regional identity.
Sustainable vineyard practices, careful canopy management and precise harvesting decisions ensure healthy grapes with excellent aromatic potential. The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness to achieve a harmonious balance between natural fruit sweetness and the vibrant acidity that is characteristic of Rheinhessen Riesling.

Vinification

The grapes are gently pressed and carefully clarified to preserve the purity and freshness of the Riesling fruit. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, allowing the wine to retain its delicate aromas and lively character. The fermentation process is carefully managed and stopped at the ideal balance between residual sugar and acidity. The naturally retained sweetness is perfectly integrated with the wine's crisp acidity, creating a refreshing and elegant style with excellent drinkability. A short maturation period on fine lees add subtle texture and complexity while maintaining the wine's clear and precise fruit expression.
