2022 Domaine des Malandes Petit Chablis Organic

White-fleshed fruit, very pure, fresh and easy to drink. Pale yellow with green glints, this is a typical expression of Chablis with grapefruit and floral aromas on the nose. Carrying through to the palate with a nice liveliness, hints of lemon and almonds and a fresh round finish. A classic refreshing, unoaked Chardonnay.

Viticulture

Cultivated on 29 hectares of Kimmeridgian and Portlandian soil, the estate practices sustainable viticulture with vigorous cover crops, aiming for high-precision freshness.

Vinification

The Domaine des Malandes, created in Chablis in 1972 by Lyne Marchive, was recently taken over by her children Richard Rottiers and Amandine Marchive. They have made few changes, including the conversion to organic farming.
