This wine has a delicate peppery aroma with refreshing citrus notes on the palate. It is spicy, charming and light.
Viticulture
Grüner Veltliner Strass reflects a cross selection of the major vineyards of our village. Here primarily slate, gravel and loess soil with some elements of limestone. These types of soils produce a dignified Grüner Veltliner.
Vinification
The grapes were hand picked. The then went through temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 19°C with added natural yeast and then extended lees contact.
Recommendation
This goes well with pork, vegetables, fish and other light dishes. Optimum serving temperature of 8-10°C.
