Golden yellow colour with bright reflections. Beautiful nose of white fruits, hints of fresh butter and vanillin notes. Round and full, with well integrated oak, creamy and toasty.

Viticulture

VINES : Planted in Chassagne-Montrachet area, in soils of argil and chalk. The planting density is 10 000 plants/ha, with an average age of 12 years old and a yield of 40hL/ha (due to the frost). Pruning: Guyot simple. Vineyard management: Reasoned fight, partial grassing , mechanical work of the soil, leaf stripping. HARVEST: manual, in little boxes, very short transport time.

Vinification

Pneumatic press of the complete bunches. Static clarification during 24 h, the the wine is put into oak barrels using gravity. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur naturally (no yeast addition) into the oak barrels. The wine goes through elevage In French oak barrels, this is a 10 month process. No new oak. Regular stirring of the lees.
