Padthaway is a renowned grape growing region in the Australian state of South Australia located within the Limestone Coast. There are now more than 4,000 hectares of vineyard planted with the red varieties Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon making up 50% of the total vineyard plantings in the region. The Potawurutj Aborigines named this place Padthaway meaning, ‘Good Water’.
