This is a dry and fresh Rosé produced from a blend of the premium Douro grape varieties, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional. It has a delicate pink colour obtained by free run juice. Modern winemaking retains aromas of fresh wild berries and pomegranate. It is deliciously crisp and refreshing
We started producing Rosé in 1995, a time when the Rosé wines were quite stereotyped. We are among the first Douro wineries producing this type of wine.
Viticulture
Hand picked/grapes transported in boxes. Harvested between the 1st and the 26th September.
Vinification
The must is obtained from free run juice and then fermented in stainless steel vats at 14-16ºC. The wine rests in stainless steel vats with its lees until bottling in order to preserve its freshness.
Recommendation
Serve chilled as an apéritif or with salads, fish and shellfish dishes.
