2019 Vins Auvigue Saint-Véran Moulin du Pont

A typical representation of its appellation, this Saint-Véran gives off notes of citrus fruits and white peaches. The mouth feel is lively and round.

Viticulture

The vines are planted on the slopes above the village of Davayé, on sedimentary rocks from the Cretaceous period, over limestone.

Vinification

Made from grapes bought from local winegrowers, the clusters are pneumatically pressed and the juice statically settled over a 12 hour period. The clear juices are then transferred to stainless steel containers for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.

Aged in stainless steel on lees until bottling.

This wine can be served as an aperitif, but also pairs well with grilled fish, shellfish or goats cheese
