Valle Central
A full bodied wine, offering hints of concentrated blackberry fruit mixed with a touch of chocolate. Soft tannins provide a long and persistent finish.
Viticulture
Grown in the Valle Central on clay soils with some gravel, the vines were trellised using VSP.
Vinification
The grapes were harvested in the middle of April and brought to the winery. After a gentle pressing they were cold soaked for three days, fermentation took place at between 20 - 25ºC, with three daily pumpovers.
Recommendation
Enjoy on its own or pair with red meats, pasta dishes or mature hard cheeses
