Saint Georges Saint Emilion
The Château Tour du Pas Saint-Georges has a brilliant dark red color. It has a great aromatic richness with notes of black fruits, spices and leather. In the mouth, this wine reveals all its elegance and finesse, with a finish of tonic but smooth tannins. Château Tour du Pas Saint-Georges is a well-balanced wine, developing complexity and charm after 3 to 5 years of cellaring. It can mature for another 5 to 15 years. A wine made for the pleasures of the table.
The 2019 vintage is beautiful brilliant colour - slight hint of evolution - pleasant nose - toasty notes - ripe fruit - smoky wood - soft palate, fairly taut with freshness and a hint of vanilla - fine tannins - precise, well-balanced structure - elegant wine
Viticulture
The site benefits from an exceptional panorama and covers 14 hectares magnificently exposed to the south, on clay-limestone and sandy molasse of the Périgord. The Delbeck family, passionate about the world of wine, wishes to perpetuate the tradition and the know-how that makes the great wines of Bordeaux so special and famous. They produce expressive, tasty wines, full of freshness, balance and finesse. The average age of the vineyard is 25 years old and the grapes are harvested by hand in crates before being passed through a sorting and selection on table
Vinification
Great respect for the raw material during the vinification in concrete and stainless steel vats. Aged in 15-month-old barrels (of which 30% in new barrels, 20% in 3-month-old barrels fermented by our whites and 50% in one-wine barrels).
