Imminently shareable, this full-bodied wine has chocolate, coffee and ripe raspberry aromas. A palate of juicy raspberry and mocha is rounded off by subtle oak and silky soft tannins.
Sourced from both own and grower vineyards across southern and central Barossa which allows a consistent style. Annual rainfall was less than the long term average. Timely rain and an Indian Summer slowed down the pace of ripening allowing flavours and tannin structure to develop, harvest meant smaller berries of intense flavour and colour.
Matured in a combination of French and American hogsheads (300L_ for 18 months, approx 15% new oak
