Lightly smoky notes, very pure with lots of ripe fruits, insistent on the palate with a good structure and soft tannin.

Vinification

Grapes are hand-picked and then strictly selected using a sorting belt upon arrival at the winery. They are then fermented on skins for 14 days at a controlled temperature, without stems. Following this they are matured in barriques for 16-months.

Recommendation

Terrific with roasted duck in a dark cherry sauce, or delicious with a creamy wild mushroom risotto.
