This luscious Cabernet exhibits inviting aromas of dark red fruit, blood orange and fresh plum on the nose, with undertones of rose petals, cinnamon bun, and gingerbread. Flavours of dark fruit, black olives and blackberries, are followed by hints of moss and savoury dried herbs. This age-worthy Cabernet has great density and length, and is complex yet nimble on the back palate with a long, balanced aftertaste.

We had high rain fall at the beginning of the season, a mild winter, and then we finally transitioned into a beautiful spring. There was an early bud break and flowering, followed by sunny days and high temperatures through June and August.
Our Yountville vineyard forms the heart of our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with grapes from our Rutherford and Calistoga vineyards rounding out the blend. We farm all of our vineyards naturally, without artificial pesticides or herbicides, and they are certified organic. The result is a full-bodied, elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with pure flavours and a pronounced sense of place.
