2016 Rutherford Hill Merlot

Rutherford Hill 2016 Merlot is an elegantly refined blend of classic Bordeaux varietals that create a beautiful bouquet of rich aromas and prolonged flavors. Deep ruby in colour with intense aromas of dark cherry, plum, fresh fig with a hint of nutmeg. On the palate medium-bodied with concentrated flavours of dark plum, pomegranate, dried cherries and a mocha finish that lead to supple and lengthy finish.

Vinification

Stainless steel tank with daily pump overs, pressed at dryness; secondary fermentation to finish in barrels and tanks.
18 months in French oak barrels
