Inky purple with scarlet highlights, thought-provoking dark fruit aromas balanced with floral and spicy notes. Jammy entrance with a dense midpalate wrapped around a core of soft tannins. The finish is long and lingering.
Both varieties were fermented separately spending 12-15 days on skins. After malolactic fermentation, the wines were blended together for aging in French Oak barrels for 15 months, 20% new oak.
