2019 Rudolf Fürst Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder GG

96+ Points

“From Bürgstadt’s coolish terroir, the 2019 Centgrafenberg Spätburgunder GG offers possibly the deepest, most intense and complete as well as generous bouquet of Fürst's 2019 Pinot trio, yet it still preserves this delicate, finessed and floral Pinot fruit that is reminiscent of dark cherries, black berries and raspberries with a touch of black cake, here combined with toasty notes. Silky, round and juicy on the palate, this is a full-bodied, very intense and concentrated yet lush and elegant Pinot with firm tannins and a tight, sustainably intense and salty finish with good mineral freshness. This is a highly promising Centgrafenberg that no Pinot lover should miss buying. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.” – Stephan Reinhardt. Drink Date: 2025 – 2045

2019 Rudolf Fürst Schlossberg Spätburgunder GG

96 Points

“From Klingenberg’s reddish sandstone terraces, the 2019 Schlossberg Spätburgunder GG opens with a deep, pure, warm and fresh, very intense but spicy-elegant bouquet of juicy and even potted red berries intertwined with notes of crushed stones, flowers and liver. Lush and round but highly refined and elegant on the palate, this is a pure yet concentrated and juicy, powerful and very sustainable Pinot with a spectacularly long, intense, dense and aromatic finish. This is a giant in the making, very generous but so delicately refined, pure and energetic. A great and exciting Pinot. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.” – Stephan Reinhardt. Drink Date: 2025 – 2040

2019 Rudolf Fürst Hundsrück Spätburgunder GG

94+ Points

“The 2019 Hundsrück Spätburgunder GG opens with a pure, fresh, refined yet intense and concentrated, almost bloody or at least fleshy bouquet of red and black berries as well as crushed stones, iron and graphite. Round and juicy on the silky-textured palate but also still a bit oaky in its tannin expression, this is an intense, rich and powerful but tight and still slightly drying Pinot with ripe and intense fruit and a firm but still slightly brittle finish. Tasted in Wiesbaden in August 2021.” – Stephan Reinhardt. Drink Date: 2027 - 2040

2019 Rudolf Fürst Centgrafenberg Riesling GG

93 – 94 Points

“The 2019 Centgrafenberg Riesling GG is deep, intense and purely mineral on the nose, with notes of finely crushed stones, lemon juice, salt and Riesling expressions. Full-bodied, intense and juicy on the palate, with ripe and fine acidity, this is a promising, firmly structured and grippy-mineral grand cru from old vines on red sandstone soils. Tasted as a sample in April 2020.” – Stephan Reinhardt. Drink Date: 2023 – 2034

2019 Rudolf Fürst Weisser Burgunder pur mineral

92 Points

“The 2019 Weisser Burgunder pur mineral is beautifully clear, fresh and mineral on the pure, intense and elegant nose. Juicy and refined on the palate, with texture, finesse and elegance, this is an impressive Pinot Blanc with delicate acidity, salinity and fine grip. Sebastian Fürst's pur mineral is a little masterpiece of Pinot Blanc and can compete with certain Burgundy village wines. Tasted from AP 03-20 in April 2020.” – Stephan Reinhardt. Drink Date: 2020 – 2030

2019 Rudolf Fürst Riesling pur mineral

91 Points

“The 2019 Riesling pur mineral is a brilliant estate wine and sandstone representative from Sebastian Fürst. It is precise, pure, fresh and crystal-clear on the nose, with bright fruit and gentle sur lie aromas. This is a dry Riesling with 11.5% alcohol, charmingly round and juicy fruit and stimulating mineral acidity. Entirely vinified in stainless steel, this will drink well for at least the next 10 years. Tasted from AP 04-20 in April 2020.” – Stephan Reinhardt. Drink Date: 2020 - 2030
