Mas des Restanques 2019 Gigondas - 17 Points
70% Grenache, 30% Syrah. Organic. Aged in concrete.
Tasted blind. Very fruit-led nose, sweet cassis and a little note of undergrowth and sous bois to complement the ripe fruit. Fresh on the palate with that lovely rich fruit character coming through. Well-judged tannins and an opulent ripe finish. (AC)
Mas des Restanques 2019 Vacqueyras - 16+ Points
55% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre. Organic. Aged in concrete.
Tasted blind. Sweet red-fruit and herbal notes. A warming rich palate with firm powdery tannins and good acidity. A comforting attractive floral style with appealing ripe dark fruits on the palate. (AC)
Mas des Restanques 2019 Vacqueyras - 16+ Points
50% Viognier, 25% Roussanne, 20% Marsanne, 5% Clairette. Organic. Aged in 500-litre oak barrels.
Tasted blind. Peach and mealy nose. Ripe and seductive palate – slightly oily and has a clean and rich finish. The alcohol is a little notable on the palate but it's an attractive style. (AC)
