Gunderloch Vom Stein Sauvignon Blanc trocken 2019 Rheinhessen
17 Points - 12%, Drink 2020 – 2023 - View Here

“Neither too grassy nor too tropical, the vom Stein offers a fine local composition of gooseberry and blackcurrant bush on the nose. On the palate it is dry, with gooseberry in the lead, citrusy acidity gets on well with the generous texture. It even shows a bit of the proverbial fumé quality on the finish.” - Michael Schmidt

Gunderloch Vom Roten Schiefer Riesling trocken 2019 Rheinhessen
16 Points - 12%, Drink 2020 – 2022 - View Here

“Pleasant fragrance of pear fruit is complemented by a faint vegetal notion. Consistent on the palate, but rather crunchy than fleshy pear, with a piquant notion of bitter peel and a touch of residual sugar on the finish.” - Michael Schmidt

Gunderloch Niersteiner Riesling trocken 2019 Rheinhessen
16.5 Points - 11.5%, Drink 2020 – 2023 - View Here

“The fragrance of the Niersteiner Ortsriesling (village Riesling) intrigues with delicate aromas of herbs such as oregano and marjoram, with fruit only in a minor support role. Herbs also leave their mark on the palate, served on a velvety texture and with delicate stony and spicy nuances on the finish. Peach and grapefruit pith add the merest of fruity touches. Quite austere.” - Michael Schmidt

Gunderloch Nackenheimer Riesling trocken 2019 Rheinhessen
17 Points - 11.5%, Drink 2020 – 2025 - View Here

“Although the nose is quite delicate, it does offer glimpses of ripe peach and apricot. They make an appearance on the palate too, but it’s a marked mineral expression that shapes the character of the Nackenheimer. The texture is quite rich despite the moderate alcohol content. ” - Michael Schmidt

Gunderloch, Jean-Baptiste feinherb Riesling Kabinett 2019 Rheinhessen
16.5 Points - 10.5%, Drink 2020 – 2024 - View Here

“Delightfully fresh on the nose with citrus fruit and elderflower sharing the olfactory honours. Once again the texture is quite impressive despite the modest alcohol content. Feinherb means it’s not as sweet as most Kabinetts, but well balanced in its composition of zesty fruit and herbs.” - Michael Schmidt
