Intensely meaty and spicy in the nose with some pepper and licorice, this is a concentrated and well-structured wine for this appellation wiht a very long, dark and rooty finish that really makes it stand out of the crows.  A cuvee of Syrah and Grenached from organically grown grapes.  Drink or hold.  93 pts, www.jamessuckling.com
