'The 2019 Cuve 8A has a well-defined, taut and linear bouquet, a light marine influence coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, a slightly granular texture, good grip, and black pepper and graphite notes toward the finish. A fascinating and quite delicious 2019.’ Neal Martin

'The 2019 Canon Chaigneau has more fruit on the nose compared to the Cuve 8A, though that is partly because it is less reduced. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and fleshier than the Cuve 8A, quite substantial yet focused, with a judicious touch of white pepper on the aftertaste. Excellent.’, Neal Martin
